Project funding:the project total budget is LVL 22 925, including Fund contribution - LVL 17 194 and state budget financing - 5 731 LVL. Project implementation period is January - June, 2011.
Project overall objective: to contribute to the enhancement of the return sphere, improving level of professionalism of the competent state institutions' employees, that will allow successfully use EU Member States' best integrated models of return system.
The project specific objective: to optimize the work of the State Border Guard, providing them with the required number of officials who are trained according to the job requirements.
Expected results within the implementation of the project:
- 2 training seminars will be organized in Riga - Central Board of the State Border Guard. The lecturers from Switzerland, Slovakia, Austria, Hungary, Denmark, Finland and an interpreter, who will provide interpretation Latvian-English-Latvian languages during seminars, will be invited. In total 72 State Border Guard officials will be trained during seminars.
- 2 training courses will be organized at Polish Border Guard Training Center in Ketrzyn for rising of theoretical and practical knowledge of 16 State Border Guard officials in the field of convoy as well as in case of emergency.
