On January 31 - February 2, 2018 the visit of the Canadian Military Attaché Colonel Michael Minor and Sergeant Robert Wright to the State Border Guard took place.
During the visit to the Central Board of the State Border Guard, the Canadian officials were informed about the structure, tasks and cooperation issues of the State Border Guard. While the information on the activities of the State Border Guard and the main challenges at the EU external border was provided to the Canadian officials at the Daugavpils and Ludza Boards of the State Border Guard.
