On Sunday, evening of June 9, in the Indra Parish of Krāslava District, the officials of the State Border Guard detained three Latvian citizens for illegal movement of excise goods.

In the Indra Parish, about 1960 meters from the state border in the forested area the officials of the Daugavpils Board of the State Border Guard detained three offenders - men born in 2000, 1992 and 1996, with six packages wrapped in black polyethylene film. The border guards found in the packages 90 000 cigarettes "Premjer" with Belarusian excise stamps.

Criminal proceedings were initiated for the illicit storage, movement (transportation) and sale of tobacco products committed by a group of persons according to a prior agreement. Persons were subject to non-custodial security measures.
