On September 22-23 of this year, in Rezekne, in State Border Guard College, and on September 24 of this year, in Riga, in State Police College, the State Border Guard in cooperation with the European Border and Coast Guard Agency (FRONTEX) organized a document fraud detection training (Roadshow on falsified documents). 55 officials of the State Border Guard and the State Border Guard College completed this training.

The document fraud detection training is an important tool for improving the professional knowledge and skills of officials, exchanging best practices, as well as strengthening the institutional capacity for detecting document and identity fraud, as well as for the practical application of the relevant methodology and technical equipment.

Improving the professional competence of border guards strengthens the security of the external borders of Latvia and the European Union.
