On Tuesday, January 29 the Minister of the Interior Sandis Ģirģens visited the State Border Guard to learn the full extent of the State Border Guard's main activities.
The Border Guards brought to the attention of the Minister the structure and competence of the State Border Guard, outlined the priority actions of their work, also visited the National Coordination Centre of the Operational Management Board, where they talked about the tasks of the Centre, as well as demonstrated the European Border Surveillance System (EUROSUR), the border surveillance technical means - presence detection systems and border surveillance management system.
