Officials of the State Border Guard detected 16 offenders at external borders and within the country. 4 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
- conditions of residence were violated by 1 foreigner
one citizen of Uzbekistan was detected at the „Riga” Airport Border Control Point, for violating the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen Area Countries (was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit). Record-keeping regarding the administrative violation committed by the citizen of Uzbekistan was not initiated.
- exit from the Republic of Latvia was refused to 1 citizen of Latvia
at the Pāternieki Border Control Point, one citizen of Latvia departing for Belarus, who was not in possession of valid travel document, was detected. The person was banned from leaving the country.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country, violations of entry or residence conditions were detected for 9 persons - five citizens of Somalia, two - of Pakistan, one – of Estonia and one – of Eritrea.
Within the framework of vehicle and vessel operations, 3 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused the right to enter the Republic of Latvia by officials of the State Border Guard of Latvia – one citizen of Azerbaijan, one – of Kazakhstan and one – of Moldova.
