On March 22 and 23, 2023, the Chief of the State Border Guard, General Guntis Pujāts, is on a working visit to Poland, Warsaw, where he is participating in the Frontex’s 94th Management Board meeting
During the meeting, the issues related to the implementation of the European Border and Coast Guard Regulation will be examined, the operational situation at the external borders of the European Union will be reviewed, current issues regarding implementation of the FRONTEX Agency’s activities in 2022 will be presented, including on the annual and multiannual planning of the standing corps, as well as operational needs for 2024, the conclusions on the Annual Risk Analysis for 2023 and the Annual Implementation Report for 2022.
Also, the Management Board will decide on preliminary Annual Work
