On Thursday the 5th of September, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 35 offenders at external borders and within the country.

16 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

2 foreigners with forged documents were detected

At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Lithuania leaving Latvia, who presented forged Lithuanian Vehicle Insurance Policy, was detected. The criminal procedure was initiated for the use of forged documents. Within the criminal procedure the forged document was seized. While at the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Bangladesh, who presented the passport of a Bangladeshi citizen with forged Spanish visa stickers and a forged Spanish border stamp, was detected. The criminal procedure was initiated for the use of forged documents. The person was placed into the State Police short-term detention facilities.

4 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 4 citizens of Ukraine were refused entry into the country, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 3 foreigners

At the Terehova, the Zilupe and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Uzbekistan, 1 - of Belarus and 1 - of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 8 persons - 6 citizens of Latvia and 2 - of Lithuania.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 11 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Russia, 3 - of Belarus, 2 - of Latvia, 1 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Belgium and 1 - of Ukraine.
