On Wednesday the 4th of September, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 33 offenders at external borders and within the country.

18 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

1 foreigner with forged documents was detected

At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Kazakhstan leaving Latvia by truck with trailer, who presented forged Bulgarian Vehicle Insurance Policy, was detected. The person was subject to administrative liability.

2 persons, who are on the police wanted list, were detained

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 2 citizens of Latvia entered the country from London, who are on the Police wanted list, were detected. The men, born in 1986 and 1980, were detained and handed over to the State Police officers.

4 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Grebņeva Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus was refused entry into the country, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. While at the "Riga" Airport and the Pāternieki Border Control Points 2 citizen of Georgia and 1 - of Ukraine were refused entry into the country, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 7 foreigners

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 2 citizens of Russia, 1 - of Tajikistan, 2 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Belarus and 1 - of Vietnam, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by 1 citizen of Ukraine was not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.

1 citizen of Latvia was refused exit from the country

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 minor citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of at least one parent's notarially certified agreement for her independent travelling outside Latvia, was detected. The person was refused exit from the country.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 4 persons - 2 citizens of Russia, 1 - of Latvia and 1 - of Estonia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 14 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia -4 citizens of Belarus, 4 - of Lithuania, 3 -of Russia, 1 - of Latvia, 1 - of Uzbekistan and 1 - of Turkmenistan.
