On Monday the 2nd of September, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 24 offenders at external borders and within the country.

13 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

2 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Bangladesh was refused entry into the country, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. While at the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Moldova was refused entry into the country, as the foreigner has a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 5 foreigners

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 2 citizens of Russia, 1 - of Kirgizstan, 1 - of China and 1 -of Turkey, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by 1 citizen of Kirgizstan and 2 - of Russia was not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 2 persons - 1 citizen of Ukraine and 1 stateless person.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 9 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Russia, 2 - of Belarus, 2 - of Estonia, 1 - of Moldova and 1 - of Latvia.
