On Saturday the 27th of October, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 35 offenders at external borders and within the country.

8 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

1 citizen of Russia with forged documents was detected

At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia, leaving Latvia by car with forged Russian driving licence, was detected. Criminal proceedings were initiated for using forged documents.

1 citizen of Latvia, who is on the police wanted list, was detained

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia, entered the country from Milan, who is on the police wanted list was detected. The man, born in 1990, was detained and handed over to the State Police officers.

1 foreigner was refused entry into Latvia

At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Uzbekistan was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. The person was returned to the exit country.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 2 foreigners

At the Pāternieki Border Control Point 2 citizens of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay of the visa-free regime), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

1 citizen of Latvia was refused exit from the country

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 minor citizen of Latvia (woman), who was not in possession of valid travel document, was detected. The person was refused exit from the country.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 6 persons - 3 citizens of Estonia, 2 - of Lithuania and 1- of ASV.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 21 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 5 citizens of Russia, 5 - of Belarus, 5 - of Latvia, 3 - of Estonia, 1 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Uzbekistan and 1 - of Ukraine.
