On Monday the 26th of October, 2020 the State Border Guard's officials detected 26 offenders at external borders and within the country.
9 trespassers were detected at external borders, including 7 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia. At the Paternieki Border Control Point 7 citizens of Ukrain were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners violated Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 360 "Epidemiological precautions to control the spread of Covid - 19 infection". The persons were returned to the exit countries.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 6 persons - 2 citizens of Uzbekistan, 1 – of Tajikistan, 1 – of India, 1 – of Latvia and 1 – of Estonia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 11 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard - 6 citizens of Belarus 2 – of Russia, 1 – of Ukrain, 1 – of Lithuania and 1 – of Estonia.
