On Saturday the 13th of October, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 37 offenders at external borders and within the country.

11 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

2 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukraine was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, and 1 citizen of Russia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid travel document. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 2 foreigners

At the Grebņeva and the Pāternieki Border Control Points 1 citizen of Kazakhstan and 1 - of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

2 citizens of Latvia were refused exit from the country

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 2 minor citizens of Latvia, who were not in possession of notarially certified agreement of at least one of their parents for child independent travelling outside Latvia, were detected. The persons were refused exit from the country.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 11 persons - 6 citizens of Lithuania, 4 - of Estonia and 1- of Russia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 15 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 6 citizens of Russia, 2 - of Ukraine, 2 - of Kirgizstan, 2 - of Belarus, 1 - of Moldova, 1 - of the Netherlands and 1 - of Latvia.
