On Wednesday the 10th of October, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 37 offenders at external borders and within the country.

22 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

1 citizen of Belarus with forged documents was detected

In Rucava region 1 citizen of Belarus, with forged Belarusian driving license was detected. Criminal proceedings were initiated for the use of forged documents.

4 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the "Riga" Airport and the Grebņeva Border Control Points 1 citizen of Ukraine was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit; 2 citizens of Russia and 1 - of Georgia were refused entry into the country, as the foreigners have a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 3 foreigners

At the Terehova, the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizens of Russia and 2 - of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay of the visa-free regime), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 3 persons - 2 citizens of Ukraine and 1 - of Russia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 12 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Russia, 2 - of Latvia, 1 - of Poland, 1 - of Belarus, 1 - of Spain, 1 - of German, 1 - of Tajikistan, 1 - of Uzbekistan and 1 - of Azerbaijan.
