On Wednesday the 9th of October, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 32 offenders at external borders and within the country.

21 trespasser were detected at external borders, including:

2 citizens of Latvia, who are on the police wanted list, were detained

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia who leaving Riga for London and at the Riga Passenger Port 1 citizen of Latvia entered the country from Sweden, who are on the police wanted list, were detected. The men, born in 1989 and 1983, were detained and handed over to the State Police officers.

2 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Georgia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and he was not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states; as well as 1 citizen of Georgia was refused entry into Latvia, as the woman has a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. The persons were returned to the exit country.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 5 foreigners

At the Terehova, the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Azerbaijan, 3 - of Ukraine and 1 - of Russia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa, exceeded the period of stay of the visa-free regime), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by 1 citizen of Ukraine was not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.

1 citizen of Latvia was refused exit from the country

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of valid travel document, was detected. The person was refused exit from the country.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 4 persons - 2 citizens of Estonia, 1 - of Lithuania and 1 - of Uzbekistan.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 7 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Latvia, 1- of Russia, 1 - of Belarus and 1 - of Estonia.
