On Saturday the 6th of October, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 42 offenders at external borders and within the country.

15 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

2 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Terehova and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia and 1- of Ukraine was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 2 foreigners

At the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Uzbekistan and 1 - of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa, exceeded the period of stay of the visa-free regime), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

1 citizen of Latvia was refused exit from the country

At the Grebņeva Border Control Point 1 minor citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of notarially certified agreement of at least one of her parents for child independent travelling outside Latvia, was detected. The person was refused exit from the country

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 7 persons - 3 citizens of Latvia, 2 - of Estonia, 1 - of Ukraine and 1 - of Lithuania.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 20 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 5 citizens of Russia, 4 - of Belarus, 3 - of Latvia, 2 - of Poland, 1 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Georgia, 1 - of Uzbekistan, 1 - of Bulgaria, 1 - of Lithuania and 1 - of Estonia.
