On Saturday the 5th of October, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 29 offenders at external borders and within the country.

16 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

6 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Terehova, the Grebņeva, the Silene and the Pāternieki Border Control Points 4 citizens of Russia were refused entry into the country, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit; 1 citizen of Belarus and 1 - of Ukraine were refused entry into the country, as the foreigners have resided on the territory of Schengen member states for 90 days within the previous 180-day period. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 3 foreigners

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 2 citizens of Russia and 1 - of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by 1 citizen of Russia was not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.

1 citizen of Latvia was refused exit from the country

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of valid travel document, was detected. The person was refused exit from the country.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 2 persons - 1 citizen of Uzbekistan and 1 - of Lithuania.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 11 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Belarus, 3 - of Russia, 2 - of Latvia, 1 -of Lithuania and 1 - of Poland.
