On Wednesday the 2nd of October, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 40 offenders at external borders and within the country.
21 trespassers were detected at external borders, including 9 foreigners violated resident conditions were detected. At the Terehova, the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 2 citizens of Russia, 5 - of Ukraine and 2 - of Azerbaijan, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa, exceeded the period of stay of the visa-free regime), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by the 2 citizens of Ukraine was not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 11 persons - 3 citizens of Latvia, 4 - of Ukraine, 2 - of Uzbekistan, 1 - of Moldova and 1 - of Estonia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 8 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Belarus, 2 - of Russia, 1 - of Latvia and 1 - of Kazakhstan.
