On Wednesday the 25th of November, 2020 the State Border Guard's officials detected 22 offenders at external borders and within the country.
7 trespassers were detected at external borders:
- Entry into Latvia was denied to 1 foreigner
At Silene Border Control Point entry to Latvia was denied to 1 citizen of Belarus, as the foreigner did not possess valid visa or residential permit. Person was returned to the country of departure.
- Violations of resident conditions was detected to 1 foreigner
At the Grebneva Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (the period of stay specified in the visa was exceeded), was detected. Person was subject to administrative liability.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 7 persons – 3 citizens of Estonia, 2 – of Ukrain, 1 – of Lithuania and 1 – of Russia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 8 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia – 4 citizens of Belarus, 1 – of Latvia, 1 – of Lithuania, 1 – of Estonia and 1 – of Ukrain.
