On Tuesday the 6th of November, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 30 offenders at external borders and within the country.

12 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

4 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 3 citizens of Georgia were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. While at the Pāternieki Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner has resided on the territory of Schengen member states for 90 days within the previous 180-day period. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 4 foreigners

At the Terehova and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 2 citizens of Russia, 1 - of USA and 1 - of Moldova, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa, were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by 1 citizen of Russia was not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 5 persons - 2 citizens of Lithuania, 1 - of Estonia, 1 - of Vietnam and 1 - of Russia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 13 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 5 citizens of Belarus, 4 - of Russia, 1 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Mongolia, 1 - of Tajikistan and 1 - of Estonia.
