On Saturday the 3rd of November, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 50 offenders at external borders and within the country.

22 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

1 citizen of Russia with forged documents was detected

At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia, entered Latvia by car, was detained for use of forged Russian Vehicle Registration Certificates. The person was subject to administrative liability and was returned to the exit country.

1 citizen of Lithuania, who is on the police wanted list, was detained

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Lithuania, entered the country from Dublin, who is on the police wanted list was detected. The man, born in 1993, was detained and handed over to the State Police officers.

10 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. At the Pāternieki Border Control Point 7 citizens of Ukraine were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. At the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of compulsory health insurance police. While at the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner has a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

1 citizen of Latvia was refused exit from the country

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of valid travel document, was detected. The person was refused exit from the country.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 15 persons - 11 citizens of Lithuania, 3 - of Estonia and 1- of Azerbaijan.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 13 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 6 citizens of Russia, 3 - of Belarus, 1 - of German, 1 - of Korea, 1 - of Estonia and 1 - of Lithuania.
