On Saturday the 25th of May, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 30 offenders at external borders and within the country.

18 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

2 citizens of Latvia, who is on the police wanted list, were detained

At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus entered Latvia, who is on the Police wanted list, was detected. While carrying out immigration control within the country in Rucova region 1 citizen of Latvia, who is on the Police wanted list, was detected. The men, born in 1988 and 1989, were detained and handed over to the State Police officers.

5 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Moldova (female) was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid travel document. While at the Grebņeva and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia and 1 - of Ukraine were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. At the Pāternieki Border Control Point 2 citizens of Ukraine were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 2 foreigners

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Mongolia and 1 - of Montenegro, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 7 persons - 4 citizens of Lithuania and 3 - of Estonia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 5 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Russia, 1 - of Lithuania and 1 - of Ukraine.
