At the Paternieki Border Control Point 1 citizen of Moldova, entered Latvia with forged driving license, was detained. The criminal proceeding were initiated for use of forged documents. The man places at the State Police Short - term Detention Center.At the Paternieki Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukrain was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and the foreigner was not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The person was returned to the exit country.At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus, 1 -of Tajikistan and 1 - of Azerbaijan, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visas or residence permits, exceeded the period of visa-free regime), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 29 persons - 20 citizens of Ukrain, 6 - of Russia, 2 - of Estonia and 1 - of Lithuania.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 8 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 2 citizens of Russia, 2 - of Lithuania, 2 -of Latvia, 1 - of Belarus and 1 - of Ukrain.
