On Wednesday the 8th of May, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 48 offenders at external borders and within the country.

17 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

1 citizen of Latvia, who is on the police wanted list, was detained

Performing passenger profiling at Riga Passenger Port 1 citizen of Latvia entered from Sweden, who is on the Police wanted list, was detected. The man, born in 1995, was detained and handed over to the State Police officers.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 3 foreigners

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus, 1 - of Uzbekistan and 1 - of Azerbaijan, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by the citizen of Uzbekistan and citizen of Azerbaijan was not commenced, the citizen of Belarus was subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 11 persons - 4 citizens of Uzbekistan, 3 - of Estonia, 2 - of Russia, 1 - of USA and 1 - of Lithuania.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 20 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 5 citizens of Russia, 5 - of Lithuania, 4 - of Belarus, 3 - of Latvia, 1 - of Estonia, 1 - of Germany and 1 - of Kirgizstan.
