On Wednesday the 2rd of April, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 39 offenders at external borders and within the country.

At the Paternieki Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukrain, entered Latvia with forged driving license, was detained. The criminal proceeding were initiated for use of forged documents. The man places at the State Police Short - term Detention Center.At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia, entered from Dublin who are on the police wanted list, was detected. The man, born in 1981 was detained and handed over to State Police officers. At the Terehova Border Control Point 2 citizens of Russia were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in a possession of valid visas or residence permits, while at the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Serbia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner has a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. The persons were returned to the exit country.At the Terehova and Paternieki Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia and 1 - of Belarus, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visas or residence permits, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by citizen of Russia was not commenced, citizen of Belarus was subject to administrative liability.At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 minor non citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of notarially certified agreement of the parents for his independent travelling outside Latvia, was detected. The person was refused exit from Latvia.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 11 persons - 4 citizens of Estonia, 4 - of Russia, 1 - of Belarus, 1 - of China and 1 - of Lithuania.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 12 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 5 citizens of Russia, 3 - of Belarus, 1 - of Latvia, 1 - of Uzbekistan, 1 - of Kyrgyzstan and 1 - of Ukrain
