At the Paternieki Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in a possession of valid visas or residence permits, 1 citizen of Ukrain, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the Schengen zone and the foreigner was not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states, and 2 citizens of Ukrain, as the foreigners were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states.The persons were returned to the exit country.At the Terehova and Paternieki Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia and 1 - of Belarus, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visas or residence permits, exceeded the period of visa-free regime), was detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed was not commenced.While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 8 persons - 6 citizens of Lithuania, 1 - of Russia and 1 - of Estonia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 16 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 7 citizens of Russia, 2 - of Uzbekistan, 2 - of Lithuanai, 1 - of Belarus, 1 - of Serbia, 1 - of Azerbajan, 1 - of Kyrgyzstan and 1 - of Germany.
