Carrying out immigration control on the road in Brunava Civil Parish a citizen of Lithuania, who is on the police wanted list, without valid travel documents was detected. The man, born in 1995, was detained and handed over to the State Police officers.At the Zilupe, the Grebņeva and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 3 citizens of Russia were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visas or residence permits, and 2 citizens of Russia - as the foreigners were not in possession of health compulsory insurance policies. The persons were returned to the country of exit.At the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 2 citizens of Georgia, 1 citizen of Russia, 1 citizen of Ukraine, 1 citizen of Cuba and 1 citizen of Uzbekistan, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa, were not in possession of valid visas or residence permits), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were not detected.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 12 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 5 citizens of Latvia, 2 - of Russia, 2 - of Belarus, 1 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Estonia and 1 - of Ukraine.
