On Wednesday the 27th of March, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 39 offenders at external borders and within the country.

15 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

1 citizen of Latvia, who is on the police wanted list, was detained

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia entering from London, who is on the police wanted list, was detected. The man, born in 1981, was detained and handed over to the State Police officers.

4 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia (female) was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit; as well as 3 citizens of Ukraine were refused entry into the country, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 2 foreigners

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 2 citizens of Georgia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

2 citizens of Latvia were refused exit from the country

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 2 minor citizens of Latvia, who were not in possession of notarially certified agreement of at least one parent for their independent travelling outside Latvia, were detected. The persons were refused exit from the country.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 12 persons - 8 citizens of Ukraine, 3 - of Lithuania and 1 - of Russia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 12 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 6 citizens of Russia, 3 - of Belarus, 1 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Estonia and 1 - of Latvia.
