On Friday the 22nd of March, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 28 offenders at external borders and within the country.

13 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

1 citizen of Uzbekistan with forged documents was detected

At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Uzbekistan leaving Latvia by truck with trailer, who presented forged Bulgarian International Vehicle Insurance Policy, was detected. The forged document was seized, the parson was subject to administrative liability.

1 citizen of Latvia, who is on the police wanted list, was detained

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia leaving Riga for Dublin, who is on the police wanted list, was detected. The man, born in 1966, was detained and handed over to the State Police officers.

1 foreigner was refused entry into Latvia

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Moldova was refused entry into the country, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and he was not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The person was returned to the exit country.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 1 foreigner

At the Zilupe Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), was detected. The person was subject to administrative liability.

1 citizen of Latvia was refused exit from the country

At the Silene Border Control Point 1 non-citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of valid travel document, was detected. The person was refused exit from the country.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 5 persons - 2 citizens of Estonia, 1 - of Latvia, 1 - of Russia and 1- of India.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 10 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Latvia, 2 - of Russia, 2 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Estonia and 1 - of Finland.
