On Tuesday the 19th of March, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 43 offenders at external borders and within the country.

31 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

3 persons with forged documents were detected

At the Grebņeva Border Control Point 1 citizen of Kazahstan leaving Latvia by car, who presented forged Bulgarian International Vehicle Insurance Policy, was detected, at the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Uzbekistan, entered Latvia with a car, was detained for the use of forged vehicle registration certificate, but at Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia leaving Latvia by car, who presented forged Ukrainian driving license was detected. Citizens of Kazahstan and Uzbekistan were subject to administrative liability. Criminal proceedings was initiated for use of forged documents against citizen of Latvia . The man was applied a security measure non-related to deprivation of liberty.

12 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Zilupe Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia was refused entry into Latvia as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. At the Airport "Rīga" and Pāternieki Border Control Point 5 citizens of Ukrain and 5 citizens of Georgia were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states, and 1 citizen of Georgia refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner has a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 3 foreigners

At the Terehova, Grebneva and "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia, 1 - of Uzbekistan, 1- of Belarus and 1 - of Ukrain, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa free regime), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 4 persons - 2 citizens of Estonia, 1 - of Lithuania and 1 stateless person of Latvia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 8 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 2 citizens of Latvia, 2 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Germany, 1 - of Belarus, 1 - of Russia and 1 - of Ukrain.
