On Monday the 18th of March, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 37 offenders at external borders and within the country.

25 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

2 citizens of Kazakhstan with forged documents were detected

At the Grebņeva Border Control Point 2 citizens of Kazakhstan leaving Latvia by car, who presented forged Bulgarian International Vehicle Insurance Policy, were detected. The forged Vehicle Insurance Policies were seized. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

1 person, who is on the police wanted list, was detained

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Tajikistan leaving Riga for Tashkent, who is on the police wanted list, was detected. The man, born in 1995, was detained and handed over to the State Police officers.

6 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Georgia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid travel document; and 3 citizens of Ukraine were refused entry into the country, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states; as well as 1 citizen of Georgia and 1 - of USA were refused entry into the country, as the foreigners have resided on the territory of Schengen member states for 90 days within the previous 180-day period.
The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 2 foreigners

At the Silene and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Belarus and 1 - of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 1 citizen of Lithuania.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 11 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Latvia, 2 - of Russia, 2 - of Lithuania, 2 - of Uzbekistan, 1 - of Belarus and 1 - of Estonia.
