On Thursday the 14th of March, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 32 offenders at external borders and within the country.

22 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

3 persons with forged documents were detected

At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Uzbekistan and 1 citizen of Kazakhstan leaving Latvia by car, who presented forged Bulgarian International Vehicle Insurance Policy, were detected. The forged Vehicle Insurance Policies were seized. While at the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus entered Latvia by car, who presented forged Vehicle Inspection Certificate, was detected. Criminal proceedings were initiated for use of forged documents. In the framework of criminal proceedings the forged document was seized. The man was placed in the short-term detention facility.

3 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Pāternieki Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit; as well as 2 citizens of Ukraine were refused entry into the country, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 1 foreigner

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Uzbekistan, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit), was detected. The person was subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 3 persons - 1 citizen of Lithuania, 1 - of Russia and 1 of - Estonia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 7 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 2 citizens of Estonia, 1 - of Latvia, 1 - of Georgia, 1 - of Belarus, 1 - of Uzbekistan and 1 - of Russia.
