At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia and 1 citizen of Lithuania, entered from London and who are on the police wanted list, were detected. Both men, born in 1982 and in 1988, were detained and handed over to the State Police officers.At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner has resided on the territory of Schengen member states for 90 days within the previous 180-day period. The person was returned to the countries of exit.At the Paternieki, Zilupe, Silene and "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 2 citizens of Russia, 2 - of Belarus and 1 - of Shrilank , who violated the conditions of residence (residence after expiry of residence permit indicated in visa, absence of valid visa or residence permit) in Schengen countries. Persons were subjected to administrative liability.At the Silene Border Control Point 1 minor Latvian citizen who was not in possession of notarially certified agreement of the second parent for his independent travelling outside Latvia, was detected. The person was refused exit from Latvia.While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 2 citizens of Russia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 9 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 2 citizens of Russia, 2 - of Belarus, 2 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Latvia, 1 - of Estonia and 1 - of Germany.
