On Monday the 5st of March, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 42 offenders at external borders and within the country.

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Israel was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner not in possession of valid travel document and 8 citizens of Georgia were refused entry into Latvia as the foreigners were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states but at the Grebneva, Silene and Paternieki Border Control Point 2 citizens of Russia and 1 - of Belarus, were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. The persons were returned to the countries of exit.At Riga International Airport border control point has been detected 1 citizen of Latvia without valid travel document. Departure from country has been refused for the mentioned person.While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 7 persons - 4 citizens of Russia, 2 - of Lithuania and 1 - of Ukrain.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 16 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 6 citizens of Belarus, 4 - of Latvia, 2 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Russia, 1 - of Uzbekistan, 1 - of Kazakhstan and 1 - of Germany.
