25 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

4 persons with forged documents were detected

At the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus, entered Latvia by car, with forged Belarusian Vehicle Inspection Certificate was detected. The criminal procedure was initiated for the use of forged documents. Within the criminal procedure the forged document was seized. The person was placed in the State Police short-term detention facility. At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukraine, leaving Latvia, and 1 citizen of Belarus, entered the country, in whose passports were forged Polish border stamps were detected. The criminal procedure was initiated against the citizen of Ukraine for the use of forged documents and he was placed in the State Police short-term detention facility; the citizen of Belarus was subject to administrative liability. While carrying out profiling of entered passenger at the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Afghanistan, who presented passport of another person - Romanian citizen, was detected. Criminal procedure was commenced for concealing personal identity. The person was placed in the State Police short-term detention facility.

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia leaving Latvia, who is on the Police wanted list, was detected. The man, born in 1989, was detained and handed over to the State Police Officers.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 5 foreigners

At the Grebņeva and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 2 citizens of Russia and 3 - of Georgia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by the citizen of Georgia was not commenced, the citizen of Russia was subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 4 persons - 1 citizen of Russia, 1 - of Uzbekistan, 1 - of Armenia and 1 - of Estonia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 6 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 5 citizens of Belarus and 1 - of Estonia.
