On Sunday, the 4th March 2018 State Border Guard officials detected 37 offenders at external borders and within country.
11 border violators were detected at the external borders, inter alia at border control point "Pāternieki" entry into the territory of Latvia has been refused for 3 citizens of Ukrain, as foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country. Persons have been returned to the country of exit.
Performing immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were committed by 5 persons - 4 citizens of Lithuania and 1 - of Montenegro.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and water transport 21 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 8 citizens of Russia, 3 - of Lithuania, 3 - of Latvia, 2 - of Estinia, 2 - of Belarus, 1 - of Ukrain, 1 - of Moldova and 1 - of Kyrgyzstan.
