On Saturday the 3rd of March, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 31 offenders at external borders and within the country.
6 trespassers were detected at external borders, including at the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit but at the Paternieki Border Control Point 2 citizens of Ukrain were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country. The persons were returned to the countries of exit.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 10 persons - 7 citizens of Lithuania and 3 - of Estonia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 15 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Belarus, 3 - of Latvia, 3 - of Russia, 1 - of Estonia, 1 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Poland, 1 - of Moldova and 1 - of Tajikistan.
