On Monday the 2nd of March, 2020 the State Border Guard's officials detected 24 offenders at external borders and within the country.

11 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

1 citizen of Latvia, who is on the police wanted list, was detained

At the Riga Passenger Port 1 citizen of Latvia entered from Sweden, who is on the Police wanted list, was detected. The man, born in 1975, was detained and handed over to the State Police Officers.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 3 foreigners

At the Terehova, the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia, 1 - of Ukraine and 1 - of Uzbekistan, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay of the visa free regime, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by the citizen of Russia was not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 4 persons - 1 citizen of Ukraine, 1 - of Uzbekistan, 1 - of Belarus and 1 - of Estonia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 9 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 5 citizens of Belarus, 2 - of Russia and 2 - of Latvia.
