On Friday the 29th of June, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 32 offenders at external borders and within the country.

15 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

2 citizens of Latvia, who are on the police wanted list, were detained

Carrying out immigration control at the Port of Liepaja 1 citizen of Latvia, entered from German by ferry, who is on the police wanted list, was detected. While carrying out profiling of passengers at the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia, who is on the police wanted list, was detected. The men, born in 1977 and 1963, were detained and handed over to the State Police officers.

1 foreigner was refused entry into Latvia

At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Mongolia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. The person was returned to the exit country.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 6 foreigners

At the Terehova and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 4 citizens of Uzbekistan and 2 - of Russia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visas or residence permits), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by 1 citizen of Russia was not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.

1 Latvian citizen was refused exit from Latvia

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 minor citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of notarially certified agreement of the second parent for his independent travelling outside Latvia, was detected. The person was refused exit from Latvia.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 4 persons - 3 citizens of Russia and 1 - of Estonia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 13 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Russia, 3 - of Belarus, 2 - of Latvia, 2 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Turkey and 1 - of Israel.
