On Tuesday the 25th of June, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 39 offenders at external borders and within the country.
22 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
5 foreigners were refused entry into LatviaAt the Terehova and the Pāternieki Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia and 1 - of Belarus were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit; as well as 3 citizens of Ukraine were refused entry into the country, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The persons were returned to the exit countries.
Violations of resident conditions were detected to 7 foreignersAt the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 5 citizens of Kazakhstan, 1 - of Kirgizstan and 1 - of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa, exceeded the period of stay of the visa-free regime), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.
1 citizen of Latvia was refused exit from the countryAt the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia (female), who was not in possession of valid travel document, was detected. The person was refused exit from the country.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 4 persons - 1 citizen of Lithuania, 1 - of Estonia and 1 - of Latvia, as well as 1 stateless person of Estonia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 13 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Russia, 4 - of Belarus, 3 - of Latvia, 1 - of Ukraine and 1 - of Great Britain.
