On Sunday the 24th of June, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 39 offenders at external borders and within the country.

17 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

• 7 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Vientuļi, the Indra, the Terehova and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 3 citizens of Russia, 1 - of Moldova, 1 - of Belarus and 1 holder of a travel document of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visas or residence permits. While at the Pāternieki Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukraine was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

• Violations of resident conditions were detected to 5 foreigners

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 2 citizens of Azerbaijan, 1 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Georgia and 1 citizen of Kazakhstan, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa, were not in possession of valid visas or residence permits), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by 1 citizen of Azerbaijan and 1 - of Kazakhstan was not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 7 persons - 5 citizens of Lithuania, 1 - of Russia and 1 - of Ukraine.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 15 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 6 citizens of Russia, 3 - of Belarus, 2 - of German, 1 - of Serbia, 1 - of Belgium, 1 - of Latvia and 1 - of Estonia.
