On Wednesday the 19th of June, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 47 offenders at external borders and within the country.

32 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

1 foreigner with forged documents was detected

At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia entered Latvia by car, who presented forged German Vehicle Insurance Policy, was detected. The forged document was seized.

1 citizen of Latvia, who is on the police wanted list, was detained

While carrying out profiling of passengers at the Riga Passenger Port 1 citizen of Latvia entered Latvia from Sweden, who is on the Police wanted list, was detected. The man, born in 1966, was detained and handed over to the State Police officers.

6 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Pāternieki Border Control Point 2 citizens of Ukraine were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. At the Grebņeva Border Control Point 1 citizen of Salvador (female) was refused entry into the country, as the foreigner has resided on the territory of Schengen member states for 90 days within the previous 180-day period, and 3 citizens of Ukraine were refused entry into the country, as the foreigners were not in possession of compulsory life and health insurance policies. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 8 foreigners

At the Grebņeva, the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Salvador, 4 citizens of Russia, 1 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Azerbaijan and 1 - of Georgia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay of the visa-free regime, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by 1 citizen of Russia was not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 5 persons - 3 citizens of South Africa and 2 - of Russia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 10 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Belarus, 2 - of Kirgizstan, 2 - of Latvia, 1 - of Kazakhstan, 1 - of Lithuania and 1 - of Spain.
