On Thursday the 13th of June, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 45 offenders at external borders and within the country.

22 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

1 foreigner with forged documents was detected

At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Kazakhstan entered Latvia by truck with trailer, who presented forged German Vehicle Insurance Policy, was detected. The forged document was seized.

1 citizen of Latvia, who is on the police wanted list, was detained

At the Pāternieki Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus entered Latvia, who is on the Police wanted list, was detected. The man, born in 1985, was detained and handed over to the State Police officers.

6 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Moldova was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid travel document. At the Pāternieki Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukraine was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit; as well as 3 citizens of Ukraine were refused entry into the country, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Georgia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner has a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 2 foreigners

At the Terehova and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia and 1 - of India, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by the citizen of India was not commenced, the Russian citizen was subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 12 persons - 7 citizens of Moldova, 2 - of India, 1 - of Russia, 1 - of Egypt and 1 - of Ukraine.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 11 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Latvia, 3 - of Russia, 2 - of Belarus, 1 - of Lithuania and 1 - of Estonia.
