On Tuesday the 11th of June, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 47 offenders at external borders and within the country.

24 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

2 foreigners with forged documents were detected

At the Grebņeva Border Control Point 1 citizen of Serbia leaving Latvia by truck, who presented forged Bosnia and Herzegovina Driving License, was detected. Criminal procedure was initiated for the use of forged documents. The forged documents were seized within the framework of criminal procedure. While at the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Kirgizstan leaving Latvia by truck with trailer, who presented forged Bulgarian International Vehicle Insurance Policy, was detected. The person was subject to administrative liability.

A foreigner was refused entry into Latvia

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Moldova was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and he was not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The person was returned to the exit country.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 7 foreigners

At the Grebņeva, the Silene and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 2 citizens of Russia, 1 - of Belarus, 3 - of Ukraine and 1 - of Moldova, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay of the visa-free regime), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

1 citizen of Latvia was refused exit from the country

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of valid travel document, was detected. The woman was refused exit from the country.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 8 persons - 3 citizens of Russia, 2 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Israel, 1 - of Uzbekistan and 1 - of Ukraine.


For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 15 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 5 citizens of Russia, 4 - of Lithuania, 3 - of Latvia, 1 - of Kazakhstan, 1 - of Ukraine and 1 - of Poland.
