On Monday the 10th of June, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 33 offenders at external borders and within the country.

16 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

2 foreigners with forged documents were detected

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 2 citizens of Iran, who presented forged Israel passports, were detected. Criminal proceedings were initiated for the use of forged documents. The persons were placed in a State Police short-term place of detention.

1 citizen of Latvia, who is on the police wanted list, was detained

While carrying out profiling of passengers at the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia entered Latvia from Sweden, who is on the Police wanted list, was detected. The man, born in 1994, was detained and handed over to the State Police officers.

3 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Silene and the Pāternieki Border Control Points 2 citizens of Russia were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. While at the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Israel was refused entry into the country, as the foreigner has a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 3 foreigners

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 2 citizens of Uzbekistan and 1 - of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay of the visa-free regime), were detected. The person were subject to administrative liability.

1 citizen of Latvia was refused exit from the country

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of valid travel document, was detected. The woman was refused exit from the country.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 7 persons - 2 citizens of Uzbekistan, 1 - of Lebanon, 1 -m of Russia, 1 - of Syria, 1 - of Lithuania and 1 - of Estonia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 10 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Russia, 3 - of Belarus, 1 - of Kazakhstan, 1 - of Latvia and 1 - of Nederland.
