On Tuesday the 4th of June, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 48 offenders at external borders and within the country.

29 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

1 foreigner with forged documents was detected

At the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukraine entered Latvia by truck, who presented forged Ukraine Vehicle Driving Licence, was detected. Criminal proceedings was launched for the use of forged documents. The forged document was seized within the criminal proceedings. The person was placed into a State Police temporary place of detention.

7 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Moldova was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. At the Silene and the Pāternieki Border Control Points 1 citizen of Belarus and 4 - of Ukraine were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. While at the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Georgia was refused entry into the country, as the foreigner has a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 9 foreigners

At the Terehova and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 6 citizens of Russia, 2 - of Ukraine and 1- of India, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by 2 citizens of Russia was not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.

3 citizens of Latvia were refused exit from the country

At the Pāternieki and the Silene Border Control Points 3 minor citizens of Latvia, who were not in possession of at least one parent's agreement for their independent travelling outside Latvia, was detected. The person was refused exit from Latvia.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 10 persons - 4 citizens of Ukraine, 3 - of Uzbekistan, 2 - of Russia and 1 - of Estonia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 9 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Latvia, 2 - of Belarus, 1 - of Estonia, 1 - of Slovakia, 1 - of Ukraine and 1 - of Georgia.
