On Monday the 3rd of June, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 44 offenders at external borders and within the country.

26 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

2 foreigners with forged documents were detected

At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukraine entered Latvia, who presented forged German Vehicle Insurance Policy, was detected. While at the Grebņeva Border Control Point 1 citizen of Kazakhstan entered Latvia by truck with trailer, who presented forged Bulgarian Vehicle Insurance Policy, was detected. The forged documents were seized. The citizen of Kazakhstan was subject to administrative liability.

1 citizen of Latvia, who is on the police wanted list, was detained

Carrying out passengers profiling, at the Riga Passenger Port, 1 citizen of Latvia entered Latvia from Sweden, who is on the Police wanted list, was detected. The man, born in 1976, was detained and handed over to the State Police officers.

2 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia was refused entry into the country, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. While at the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Moldova was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and he was not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 8 foreigners

At the Terehova, the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 2 citizens of Russia, 2 - of Ukraine and 4 - of Uzbekistan, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa, exceeded the period of stay of the visa-free regime), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by the citizens of Uzbekistan was not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 7 persons - 4 citizens of Lithuania, 1 - of India, 1 - of Russia and 1 - of Estonia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 11 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Ukraine, 3 - of Russian, 2 - of Latvia, 1 - of Germany, 1 - of Belarus and 1 - of Lithuania.
