On Saturday the 1st of June, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 43 offenders at external borders and within the country.

21 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

6 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Belarus and 1 - of Azerbaijan were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit; 3 citizens of Ukraine were refused entry into the country, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states; as well as 1 citizen of Ukraine was refused entry into the country, as the foreigner has a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 6 foreigners

At the Pāternieki Border Control Point 3 citizens of Russia, 2 - of Ukraine and 1 - of Georgia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay of the visa-free regime), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by 2 citizens of Russia was not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 4 persons - 2 citizens of Lithuania, 1 - of Estonia and 1 - of Russia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 18 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 6 citizens of Belarus, Russia, 4 - of Latvia, 2 - of Estonia, 2 - of Lithuania, 2 - of Russia, 1 - of Kazakhstan and 1 - of German.
