On Thursday, 23 july officials of the State Border Guard at the external borders and whitin the country detected 29 offenders.

At the external borders 23 offenders were detected, including:

• Entry into Latvia was denied to 11 foreigners

At Pāternieku and „Riga"airport Border Control Points entry in to Latvia was denied to the one citizen of Ukraine because the foreigner had not valid visa or residence premit. 5 citizens of Ukrain denied entry in Latvia because they were not able to justify the purpose of staying, 4 citizens of Ukrain because foreigers had not have sufficient livehoods for visiting Schengen countries and for one citizen of Georgia was subject a ban on entering and staying in the territory of the Schengen area. Persones were returned to the country of departure.

• Breach of the stay requirements identifiet to 4 foreigners
At Terehovas and „Riga" airport Border Control Points 2 citiziens of Russia, 1 citizen of Moldova and one citizen of Uzbekistan who had violated residence regulations in the territory of Schegen state (did not have valid visa or residence premit, exceeded period of saty indicated in visa) Against to the citizen of Uzbekistan the decision to initiate administrative proceeding is taken whitin time limit. The other persons has been called to the adminisrative liability.

• Exit from the country denied to 2 Latvian non-citizens

Teherovas and Zilupes Border Control Point 2 Latvian non-citizens werw detected, who did not have valid passport totravel out side the territory of Schengen states.Women are denied exit from Latvia.

Immigration control measures inside the country, violations of entry or stay regulations were detected to 1 Lithuanian citizen

Whitin the framwork of vehicels and vessels operations, the State Border Guard officials detected offenses commited by 5 persons - 3 Russia, 1 Lithuania and 1 Mongolian citizen.
