On Saturday, 21 July, officials of the State Border Guard at the external borders and within the country detected 50 offenders.

At the external borders 24 offenders were detected, including:

Detected 1 citizen of Poland with forged documents.

At Terehovas Border Control Point detected 1 citizen of Poland who presented forged Lithuanian driver's license. The forged document was confiscated.

Entry into Latvia was denied to 9 foreigners

At Terehovas Border Control Point entry to Latvia was denied to 1 citizen of Moldova, as the foreigner did not possess valid travel document; at Grebņevas Border Control Point entry to Latvia was denied to 1 citizen of Mongolia, as the foreigner did not possess valid visa or residential permit, and to 3 citizens of Russia, as the foreigners didn't have mandatory life and health insurance, meanwhile at Pāternieku Border Control point
entry to Latvia denied to 4 citizens of Ukraine , as foreigners couldn't justify the purpose and conditions of entry and stay and did not have sufficient livelihoods for visiting Schengen countries. Persons were returned to the country of departure.

Breach of the stay requirements identified to 5 foreigners:

At Grebņevas, Terehovas, Pāternieku and "Riga" airport Border Control Points detected 2 citizens of Ukraine, 1 of Moldova, 1 of Iran and 1 of Russia, who had violated residence regulations in the territory of Schengen states (didn't have valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the stay period indicated in visa). Administrative proceedings in administrative violation case were not initiated to citizen of Iran, other persons were subjected to administrative liability.

Exit from the country denied to 2 persons.

At Zilupes Border Control Point detected 1 Latvian non-citizen, who did not have valid passport to travel outside the territory of Schengen states, meanwhile at "Riga" airport Border Control point 1 citizen of Switzerland , who did not have valid travel document. Persons were denied to leave the country.

Immigration control measures inside the country, violations of entry or stay regulations were detected to 8 persons - 5 citizens of Lithuania, 2 of Estonia and of 1 of Russia.

Within the framework of vehicles and vessels operation, the State Border Guard officials detected offenses committed by 18 persons - 6 Russia, 4 Latvia, 3 Belorussia, 3 Estonia, 1 Germany and 1 Uzbekistan citizen.
